Adding another sd ram to my samsung v25 laptop?

Question: Adding another sd ram to my samsung v25 laptop?

(Posted by: Khimm.x on 2010-03-17 13:21:28)

I tried adding another 256mb into the second slot in the laptop but with that in it the whole thing wouldnt switch on. Its like the original but somehow only that one works. How do i get it to work?

My guess is that the ram is faulty....so it wont work anyway..... or that the ram is incompatible with the other ram on the system....and mixing ram of different types can cause issues.... or that the ram you added is incompatible with the motherboard on your laptop.... hard to say.... try this website...to find best fit matches to what is on your laptop now....( take out the one you added before you do so you can go online of course....) the link is..... crucial.com/ then go to the scan my system button and take it from there.... its free safe and will not harm your system in any way.... they will suggest proper ram for you if possible and available....and then you will have more information on the specs you need to add ram to your system.. :-)
