Choosing A Laptop Homepage

Question: I have an acer laptop, at different and odd times?

While I am typing my cursor will jump to another part of the page, or at times will jump back up into the text I am typing and really screws me up if I dont catch it. It jumps right into the middle of words and splits up what I am trying to type. I had an older gateway that did the same thing. Anyone have an idea what causes it? I am usually pretty capable of fixing things but this has me stumped.

I have that same problem, my laptop is acer aspire. but i notice it cause by accidentally i touch the touch pad of the laptop, when im typing. acer touch pad are very sensitive. if you think we have the same problem use this software.notouchpad.com/ this software can toggle enabling/ disabling touch pad by shortcut key when typing.

Go to control panel, pointing devise and adjust it to your setting and likes. Use a external Mouse they are much faster and easier to use than the touch pad. Your wrist maybe touching the touch pad ad you type making the pointer jump around, this is a common cause of this type of problem.
