Question: On my laptop, on the dvd drive it says dvd+rewritable what does that mean?

(i want to know if i can BURN doulble layer dvds) , and on the side of my dvd drive it says RW and under that it say dvd+rewritable then on the right of that it says dvd multi recorder , and on the other side it says compact disc rewritable

DVD+ RW is a physical format for rewritable DVDs and can hold up to 4.7 GB. DVD+ RW was created by the DVD+ RW Alliance, an industry consortium of drive and disc manufacturers.
