Question: New toshiba laptop startup?

Got a new laptop today and its a toshiba. I sstarted it up and chose 64 bit. then it was like starting the computer (windows 7) and it like just stayed at the wndows logo for the past 3 hours is it doing anything?? the instructions say to give it 2.5 hours and not to turn it offf WHAT DO I DO!?!!?! heLP!!

Toshibas are weird at first run. They run a lot of scripts to install their software on it. Funny thing is, you usually uninstall those programs quickly, cause they are garbage. Just wait it out. If it's still stuck in the morning, do a hard reboot and let it do it's thing. I won't buy anything else, the Toshibas work well. But the first time you turn it on it is a bit frustrating.
