Laptop Reviews: Dell, Apple, or Toshiba? NO bias please.?
So, I want a new laptop and I'm stuck between the Apple Macbook or Air, most definatley Macbook though , Toshiba, or Dell. I want something that will last me all of High School and is not super bulky, either. My Dell Inspiron 1420 has lasted me about 5 years now and works efficiently and well. I like the lightness and beauty of Apple, however, that is why, for the first time, i have considered to buy a laptop from Apple. But my friend said that because Apple makes their own processors, with time, whether their is a lot of data or not, Apple laptops slow down. I'd like to know if is is true and if it is should I get the MAcbook and just convert it to normal Dell processors or should i buy a Dell or Toshiba? I have never bought from any other brand but Dell before and this is why i am really relying on other consumer reviews. If you believe i should get a Dell, please specify which series please.Also, i would like a laptop worth the price, not too heavy or bulky, not too ugly, and with a good processor that will not just slow down or get bad with time. I need a reliable computer for my entire 4 years at High School. Also, any recommendations for how to keep the speed quick and the laptop empty of viruses, always, would be greaaat Pleasee and early Thank You Please only recommend laptops that i have written above. I recently heard about the Dr.Dre HP laptop. in a nutshell, is it any good? is nit made for music production or just casual listening? does it have good memory, good soundcard, low latency for recording? any built in recording software?

So, I've always been a big gamer ever since i was young. However,at this point,I'm a console gamer,which stinks. Right now i have a HP Pavillion dv6000 and i REALLY want an Alienware Laptop. Averatec Laptop Review?
Though I've upgraded my custom rig, I haven't bought a new laptop in..well..a while. I've been looking to buy a new one, and, since you can't really build a laptop barebones kits aside I've been looking around the market. I was just wondering everyone's opinion on averatec. They seem to be a good price to feature ratio, I'm just wondering on things like build quality.Thanks for any answers. Joe
