I need a very light laptop that's around 3-4 lbs and one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?
I'm not looking for the asus but something that can function for college. Anyone have any suggestions on which laptop I should buy?

Low light laptop screen?
Suddenly my laptop screen has gone really dark though it works fine but its really dark. I can hardly see anything though it turns on and everything. I have stopped working on it and use my office laptop. I remember it happened after the flap came down hard when i was closed it in hurry. What could go wrong and how can I fix it?

I am looking for a light but fast laptop to take from class to class. I'd like to have it for 4 5 years.What I want it to have is second generation i5 or i7, 6gb ram or more, 7200 rpm hardrive of 300gb or more, full HD 1080 p , 15" 6' screen or larger, a decent graphics card for gaming, built in wireless to connect to a TV, and a usb 3.0 if possible. 6mb cache is preferredI am trying to find the LIGHTEST laptop that matches this criteria, and I am trying to keep the price low too. $1200 at most if its perfect.

I am looking for something in between a laptop and netbook. I have a disability and can't carry a lot of weight, so I am looking for something that is no more than 3lbs. However, I don't want something that is too small because I want to be comfortable typing. Therefor, I am looking for a 3lb or less laptop that is about 11 12inches. I found a laptop that is 3.1lbs and it is a celeron processor. I found many 12 inch mini laptops that have intel atom. What is the difference?
