My mac laptop charger wont work?
i plugged in my and the little light on the charger won't go on, and the computer isn't charging. Sometimes when i wiggle it or something, it turns on. but now it wont charge at all....
Looking for a mac laptop charger?
i just bought a mac laptop. It didn't come with a charger and i dont know what im looking for. if u could tell me or show me a link with the charger that would help. The battery info. is model A1185, 10.8V, 55Wh, and doesnt contain mercury. The computer model is A1181, says Rated 16.5Vdc then has a symbol with i long line on top then three dashes underneath it,and then 3.65A Max.
Does a mac laptop charger use energy if it is not plugged into the laptop itself?
My housemate and I are arguing over this. The little green light on the charger comes on when it is plugged into the laptop, but not if it is not plugged in. does it still use the same amount of energy if it is not plugged into the laptop but is plugged into the wall?

I pulled out my mac laptop charger out of the wall, and one of the prongs got dislodged and came out.?

I have an apple laptop, the white one and one day i was charging it, and mom mom took it out while it was still dead beacause she was cleaning. When I put it back into charge, it charged. One day i wanted to move it to a diff. room and when i took the charger out, it just turned off When i put it back in i turn it on and its fine. But still if i take it out it just dies Any help?I tried everything Well at least what i thought would help. Please and thank you if you answer how can i tell if the battery is dead? it works perfectly fine with the charger pluged in and ive had this laptop for about 3 4 months
My mac laptop charger does not work?
It used to work fine and I had it for about four or five years. However, now when I plug the charger to the wall and computer, the green light does not go on but just flashes. I tried turning on my computer but the battery is at 0 % so it just turns off again. Is it the computer or the charger? should I take it to the Mac Peeps, or am I able to fix it on my own? Or maybe it's the adapter... Please and thanks for your help.Let me know if you need the type of computer, adapter charger or whatever, if it matters. 'Cause I wouldn't know... I solved the problem D It was my adapter, the end that plugs into the wall. All I had to do was replace it with another and it worked out fine.
MAc laptop charger issues can anyone help me?
Last week my charger died for my mac. Today I got the replacement cord and it worked for a while but before I knew it the light turned off the part that plugs into the port had gotten extremely hot and it was no longer charging my com. Is there a problem with my new charger or my computer. I had the other cord for almost two years and a dog bite it and that was my assumption on why it didn't work. Has anyone else had this problem? 1.The charger light won't turn on. 2. My com is not charging.3. The charger piece that is going into the port is extremely hot. Is the problem my cord or my com thanks for any suggestions or help.

Is it bad if my mac (laptop) charger is really hot?
i have a macbook pro, and the charger gets really hot. i even burned myself on it. it only heats up in one specific outlet though. is this bad? i unplug it whenever this happens and it usually takes 30 mins for it to cool completely.

my dog got on top of an counter and spilt something on my charger, now its not working, i don't have mac insurance, i was wondering since if you can bring them your earphones and get new ones for free, can i bring my charger back and recycle it for free? or is there anyway i can fix it myself? let it dry out? i need it badly im a student please help its a macbook pro.
