Question: How do you upload a video to youtube if it's saved on imovie on an apple mac laptop??!?

Hi. i have had a youtube account for ages but every time i try i can never seem to upload a video... i have this one saved on iMovie on my mac (i think it's an older version.. not the newest) but whenever i try to upload it it won't let me. (on the iMovie app..) i've tried clicking the 'share' tab and then 'Youtube' but it wont let me write anything in the 'description' or 'tag' places. Its 'category' is 'downloading' but it's grey- ed out so you can't click it... also, there's a button saying 'account' and it does this weird thing where you click a button saying 'add' and then you have to 'sign in' (where it takes you to a youtube link warning you about 'third- party application permissions'), and then you have to 'confirm sign in' but when you click that button it doesn't do anything.... i've also tried doing it from the actual youtube site. i click 'upload', then 'upload video' and then i browze and find the file but it's gray and i can't click it...... help??! do i have to upload more software or something?! is it just the video? (it consists of a garage- band song and a few pictures from google images and a few photobooth ones....) (it IS saved as a project in iMovie :S ) |
