Choosing A Laptop Homepage

Question: Are there different kinds of mac laptops or just one?

The thing is, i've heard the macs run games smoothly. i want to be able to game on a laptop that can support steam, games like MW2 and left 4 dead, most importantly SMOOTHLY- my old desktop can, but its as laggy as constipation. anyway, which one would be best suited for gaming- so i wouldn't have to buy new video cards and install drivers and stuff, just be ready as soon as i got it? please tell the model, OS, and price. p.s. if you know of any other laptops that have the above requirements, go ahead and tell me. it doesnt have to be a mac as long as it has what i want above, i just heard macs were good for this. you might as well tell me what you know even if it is outrageously expensive. i know there is no such thing as an inexpensive decent gaming laptop. thanks you.

There are actually 3 types the three are... Macbook Macbook Pro Macbook Air However, steam only just came out on macs, and only supports (from the Mac operating system) openGL games.

Apple offer three types of laptops: MacBook MacBook Pro MacBook Air Your best best is to go with the MacBook Pro with at least an Intel Core i5 if you can. You can customize the laptop's to your budget and requirements. If you wan't to game then I'd suggest doing with at least the Intel i5 but if you can afford the Mac with the i7 then by all means go for it!

Currently, there are 1 model of macbook, 6 models of macbook pro and 2 models of macbook air. They change every 6-9 months.

I've always heard that macs were terrible for gaming and Alienware and Quosimo (???) were the best.
