Question: How to hook up my lg plasma to our mac laptop?

Kay I have the HDMI cable the hook them up when when we do nothing happens except when its connected the screen on the laptop flickers light blue every 7 or something seconds. But still nothing shows up on my Plasma. HELP!

Have you switched to the right hdmi port on your tv (like you would when you switch to a dvd player) cycle through them to see if any pic, or maybe you have to enable to out on your lappy in the display screen?
