Mac vs PC Laptop which one should I get?
Im on the market for the bes laptopt computer money can buy. I've been looking to purchase my first laptop since I've been a loyal PC desktop user for years. Im leaning towards a Macbook pro, but im not sure if their are better laptops out there that I may be looking over. Is toshiba, dell, or HP any good or possibly better? All responses are welcomed..Thanks in advance.....

I am a PC user all my life, and still in junior high. I am not going to use the computer for gaming, but i do need a lot of memory, ram, and hardrive since i will be using it until college. i have plenty of money in my wallet, a deal i made is that if i pay half of the money, my parents would pay for the other half. I have $3000 which i started saving 7 years ago, so i am able to purchase a $6000 computer. Yay Well, I am not a computer nerd and is really confused with either to buy a mac, pc, desktop, laptop. I went many many sites about those mac vs. pc things but half says pc, half says mac. I have no idea of macs and how they work, so it would help if you explain it to me. Which operating system is better? vista or mac osx? well i dont want to go off topic, but just asking. maybe i should buy the desktop because it is way powerful than a laptop, but in the other hand, maybe a laptop because of the portability needed through high school. i am really confused. so please tell me why

HELP! Mac vs. PC laptop?
This is regarding my last question. I saw that alot of people suggested the Mac. I have had a Iphone and I have a Ipod nano , so I know some about that brand, I have never operated a MAC though. I have always had either a Dell or IBM. So I do have some questions, what makes a MAC better then a PC? How long years does a MAC normally last before its outdated? What are some PC brands to stay away from?

Hi, I am looking to buy a laptop. I am a video editor who wants to take his PC desktop workstation off the internet, so that it will get virus free. The laptop would be my internet, but would also like to use it for light video production on the move. My budget is about 1,000 for this.Because of the video editing, it would have to have decent ram, processor, video card, and harddrive too What do you think?

New Computer - Mac vs PC, Laptop vs Desktop - please help!!!?
I am thinking of getting a new computer. Over the last few months I have debated getting an apple computer over a pc windows computer, and also laptop vs desktop. Next year I will be in my last year of high school, then to college, so far I am thinking the20" iMac, 4GB RAM,2.4GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 750GB hard driveI won't be using it for any graphics or video editing and probably not gaming, but I want it to last as my parents probably won't buy me another , without slowing up too much, which is why I was considering a desktop as laptops just don't have as great capacity as desktops.Is this the right decision? My family is all PC but I'm over them and apples are seeming easier and more reliable from what I've been reading........
