I also have an Acer mini. Look in the top row of keys and you will see a key which reads NumLk (F7), so you will press Fn (function key) on the bottom row, second from left, and the F7. Press both keys at once. This will lock the numbers and you can use it like a regular key board for the numbers. BUT, don't forget to go through the routine once more in order to unlock them. The little circular thing with the bars in it is a symbol for the EURO. (European money...like ours is dollars; England is pounds...understand?) You need to read your instruction booklet in order to use the symbol. I can't remember exactly how to do it, since I have no need to type that particular symbol! |
