Question: My acer mini laptop wont fully charge, can someone help?

I have had this laptop por like 5 or 6 months and I have been using very much lastly, and everything seemed fine with the battery, when it was completely charged it turned green now its ALWAYS orange when its with the ac cable and in the battery percentage indicator stays at 90 %, like if it was the max, and now it just stays at 88 %and it stays there even if I leave it charging for 1 whole day WHAT COULD THESE BE? PLEASE HELP

Possible Reasons: a.The battery has no voltage. b.There is problem with charger, as it has no output electric current. c.Low charging efficiency due to external cause. Best Solutions: a.Test whether the charger has voltage and output electric current or not. b.Check if the charger is well contacted with battery. c.Activate the battery with voltage and current 1.5 time higher than the highest ones of battery. (Use this method only when the battery can't be charged.)

The problem is with the battery, if your laptop is under warranty then go to your nearest acer service centre and ask them to replace the battery.

You need a new battery. The one you have is dieing. It can no longer retain charge, therefore it always says its charging or the percentage is never at 100%. Just get a new one and your problems will be fixed right up. Good luck!
