Question about netbooks or mini laptops..?
I decided I want to have a netbook for christmas. I don't know what the proper name but they are like mini laptops. I know christmas is ages away but time does fly quickly sometimes. However, are netbooks good? on netbooks mini laptops can you go on msn Windows Live messenger and microsoft word?? Does anyone have a netbook and know the cons and pros about having a netbook? I don't know what to decide. Or maybe I should get a laptop instead? Any suggestions? Please help?Just want a netbook or laptop for msn and microsoft and listening to music and which is fast. That's all I want really.

i am a full time college student, im also taking a few online classes and i use the computer internet a lot for pictures, music, and social networking on the internet. I like apples but im not sure if they are worth the extra money. I was also thinking about buying a mini laptop because of the light weight and price but i want to make sure it is a good choice for my needs and it will be durable and fast. help and on a side note if yu have a preference brand or laptop.
Are mini laptops relatively the same speed as a regular laptop?
I am planning on saving for a mini laptop but I play a game called ROBLOX that requires speed and before I buy this I would like to know if they are about the same speed as your everyday laptop. So if you use one or know someone who does please answer. Thanks.
Malware taken over mini laptop?
I have a malware virus that started as rogue anti virus. I have repeatedly run malwarebytes and super anti spy ware. Both of them detect the malware and remove it but not really, as it keeps coming back on each daily scan. The malware has now blocked me from using system restore, safe mode and wont load task manager. I cannot get rid of this thing. I even manually removed it from registry but it continues to return. I have a mini laptop that came loaded with windows xp and has no cd drive so I cant even delete xp and add it back. Suggestions?This is an HP mini 110. Thanks for the answers everyone

Okay, I have this mini laptop HP and it does not have a disk opener to put CD's movies, etc. in. However, I have heard that there are electronic equipment that I can buy that will hook up to my mini and let me put my disks or whatever in that object and it will run on my mini or something like that.
