Which mini laptop should i buy?

Question: Which mini laptop should i buy?

I have my eyes on the following at the moment: Acer AOD255 Asus 1008P I basically need a laptop to surf the Net and use Microsoft Word, so I just need the most basic functions. Any suggestions within the USD400 range are also very welcome. Thanks in advance!

I'd find the cheapest mini laptop and get it, and then get a good laptop or even desktop that has more power like an i5 for laptop or i7 for desktop and a disc drive, more RAM, a good graphics card and a good Hard Drive or Solid State Drive and use that computer for watching movies, gaming and work when I'm at home. I've seen refurbished netbooks for $200 and you can get a good laptop for $1,200 GO on sites like newegg or even ebay.

I would advice you to go for Asus, having said that, you shold pay a visit to the shop and try them out, just to get used to how it feels. Then you can have a say on it, since you're not using it for heavy duty stuff, so, venture out and try them out before you buy any of them.

Hi there, Those both look like great choices. Another netbook worth looking into is the Dell Inspiron Mini 10. It has a larger keyboard than traditional netbooks so it is a good choice if you think you will be typing for extended periods of time. Check it out through the link below.
