Whats the most reliable laptop company?
I've had two HP Compaq computers so far, and they haven't been working so well. The first one I bought for only a couple hundred and it snapped in half after about 9 10 months of use. It was a Mini and kind of cheap so I'm honestly not surprised, but the new one I have which was about five hundred something I've had for about nine months and I've had nothing but problems with it. First, the track pad suddenly stopped working and even after contacting HP support, noting was done. I've been using a wireless mouse ever since. Then, the charger got all messed up and I had to order a new one. Now the charger I've only had for about four months wont work unless I hold it in. And apparently the warranty is up, so I'm opting for a new laptop.I need one that I can do my schoolwork on and can handle being thrown around a bit. I also want one with good battery life and that is pretty reliable. It will also be used many hours a day, so it needs to be pretty durable. I'm trying not to get too pricey, but I want something that will last me a few years and I'll pay for it if I have to.If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. ThanksI've been using Windows forever. Should I maybe try a Mac?

What is the most reliable laptop out there?
Over the past 4 years, I have gone through 2 " top of the line" toshiba and sony vaio laptops that have only lasted 1 2 years before their video cards went kaputt. Both had overheating problems I'm guessing the makers just couldn't adapt the old structure to handle all the newly increased power . So I wanted to know what is a good, reliable computer that can be used for surfing the internet, watching online videos megavideo and youtube and using basic software like Word?
What is the most reliable Laptop of those: Dell, Acer, Asus ?
Please don't tell me get a mac or any other brand. Just tell me one of those please. Thank you.I am looking for something that is gonna be fast on internet and fast in general. And of course something that can live for years with me without problems
