Help my laptop wont turn on at all?
yesterday a white screen came up and made a buzzing sound like it crashed and now it wont turn on at all. evey time i try the lights come on and it makes a buzzing sound but the screen stays black and it just wont go on. also the disk drive wont open. help what do i do???

I was on my laptop today and I was on a couple sites and everything was fine, but then all of a sudden my screen went black and my computer turned off the charger was plugged in, so it was charging .I have a HP G62 laptop and it wont turn on at all. No lights flickering, no fans whirling, nothing absolute dead silence. ON the upper left of the keyboard it says in small letters Altec Lansing, if that helps at all.I already tired charging it, it doesn't workI already tried turning it on with a new battery and that doesn't work eitherI already tried taking out the battery and charger, pressing the on off button for 30 60s and then putting the charger and battery back it, and nothing.What should I do? I would prefer not to go to somebody but I guess if I can't fix it on my own then I will have togo to a professional. I just don't like going to them because all they do is overcharge you for a simple button push.

its a compaq presario and it just wont turn on when i plug it in it does nothing not one light or any sign to show its connected .......i tried other power cords i get nothing ... is there a way i can open it to see if its fried or something i know alot about pc but not much about laptops but im willing to give it a try

i have a sony vaio laptop and the other day i was on it and it just shut off, i don't have a battery for it but the light was on on the adaptor but nothing is on on the computer. when i picked it up it was burning up and i think it might have overheated. what can i do?

none of the lights turn on and niether will the screen. when i plug in the charger the tinly light by where the input is turns on and the wifi button turns orange. my warrenty is up ans i dont have any ?$ to have it proffesionally fixed right now and parents said to give up but i cant since all my school work is on it. is there anyway for me to fix it?btw im only 13

I have a HP Pavilion dv6000, and i guess it doesnt wanna turn on.. the charger is plugged in and it shows that its charging, but when i go and try to turn it on it does nothing? no lights come on at all i tried unpluging the charger and taking the battery out and holding the power button for 30 seconds longer. and plug the charger back in and tried to turn it on and the lights blink for only half a second. Everyone said to try that but its not working what so ever.. its been charging for about 4 hrs.

I have a phillips 15nb57 series which is roughly 5 years old... I love it, but now it won't turn on... It charges properly but its been like this for a week now... When I press the power button it comes on for an average of two seconds and then switches off The last time I used it, I was watching a music video on youtube I spend a lot of time doing that, or just surfing the internet then the video crashed Then an error near my toolbar taskbar I'm on vista home premium came up... I didn't read it all because my laptop turned off but it said 'display driver....' So its something to do with that? Also for about a month before my laptop had broke everytime I moved my laptop it would turn off, I would then have to take the battery out and put it back in to get my laptop to turn on again I'm not sure what's wrong with my laptop... Its fully charged and still charges properly Do I need a new laptop? Or is there a solution to this problem? I really don't want to have to get a new laptop and I don't want to lose all my files... Please help Thank you
