I'm getting a new apple laptop please help with details
ok, so my dad promised me a laptop when my mom got the job she was wanting. So, she got the job. Now, he said that he will keep his word and he will definately get me one. So, I'm gonna get it for christmas, and then some smaller things too. What I'm wanting to know is, will there be anything new out as far as notebooks when christmas comes? I mean like a new operating system, hardware, or something like that. Also, I'm going to need a case bag for it cuz I need to carry it around so I need help getting a case bag that won't scratch it or anything. I know it's a little early to be thinking about it, but I've been wanting t for 3 years. Thanks.I'm wanting a macbook pro, but not sure if I'm getting that, or the original macbook.I don't know what that is, but headaray.net doesn't help with the question at all.Also, would a regular macbook still be good for editing videos on iMovie? I'm going to be doing that ALOT

Hello, I am willing to buy a Mac, but I do not know whether to buy refurb or new, could someone explain which is the difference? and are they in good cnditions or are they old and scratched out? I want one that looks as new or new.... what do you think? My parents said I can get a laptop but I do not know if I should get an Apple,HP, or Dell.Help I want a laptop that I can store photos, rip music, and all that stuff. I went to store.apple.com au which is australias apple online store and i found out that on the websitemac mini 1.83GHz Combo Drive $849 was the cheapest desktop,MacBook 13 inch screen White 2.1GHz $1,499.00 is the cheap latop.i think i will be getting the mac mini just because its cheaper and the only apple product that i have owned before was a ipod nano 3rd generation 4gb. since i havent owned a apple product that has had a apple operation system on it before i just want to get something cheap thats brand new. so is the mac mini the best one to get for me and can i get it cheaper?
