New laptop battery not charging (plugged in, no charge)?
i have a sony vaio vgn nw130d.. i bought a new battery on ebay with the same serial number so it should be an effortless replacement. the new battery is a snug fit compared to the original, but i made sure the pins line up with the contacts on the battery so it shouldnt be a hardware malfunction. i also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for the battery in device manager but to no avail.

New laptop battery not charging?
I just got a Toshiba Satellite A665D S5178 and the battery won't charge on it. The computer works when its plugged into the outlet but for the battery it says " 0 %, not charging" . Also, when I plug it into the wall the light that shows the battery is charging goes off after 10 seconds. I was wondering this is due to the battery, the computer, or if this is normal. I am going to leave the charger in overnight even though the light that shows that the battery is charging won't light up to see if that helps. Can someone please explain why this could be happening and what I should do. Thanks.
