I need a new laptop battery, what shall i get/whats compatible?

Do i need a new laptop battery or charger?
I have a samsung r530 r730 and the charger socket is a little loose so I can barely move when I'm on my laptop or else it will stop charging and I'll have to wiggle the charger plug around again for the light to come back on. The battery is fine apart from the fact that every time I charge it, it only lasts for about 30 minutes but when i click on the battery icon it says i have 1hour 30 minutes left, which I don't understand. So do i need to replace the charger or battery or both?
What new laptop battery should I get?
I currently have an HP Dv7 1448dx laptop with a broken battery. Could anyone send me a link for a relatively cheap in the $20 $30 range replacement battery. I've found quite a few on amazon, but I am not sure if they will work for my model because I am pretty uneducated on the subject of computer batteries. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

I just bought a brand new dell battery. I made sure i bought the right one and everything but it still will not charge Whenever i turn my computer on it tells me " The AC power wattage and type cannot be determined." How do i fix this?

I have a compaq presario cq50 laptop and I had some problems with the old battery. So I bought a new one off of amazon and now it won't even turn on. I've tried taking the battery and charger out, holding the power button for 30 60 seconds, plugging the charger back in and pressing the power button but it doesn't work.

Hi, my Gateway laptop was not charging and had about a 50 % charge, and I just got my replacement battery today, and I put it in. The new battery after 15 minutes is still not charging and the laptop shows around 50 % battery. Any ideas of what this is?ThanksThe new battery is not taking a charge from the power cord
Put in a new laptop battery - and computer shuts off at random points if not plugged in with charger?
When I bought it they told me to turn on my laptop, let the battery drain 100 %. I tried doing that, and I'm not sure if it did or not, because without the charger plugs in, the comp just totally shuts off randomly after any random amount of time. Not giving a warning like " shutting down" or " restarting" , it just totally powers off, all the lights and everything. Then, if I press the power button to turn it on, it doesn't work, and I have to take out the battery and put it back in every time. So after a few times of doing that I let it charge 100 % with the charger.Did I do something wrong? Like when I was supposed to let it drain 100 %, was that supposed to be with the brand new battery, or the old? And then charge it 100 % with the charger and the new battery?thanks for any help.
Where do i get a new Laptop Battery?
Well my Lenovo G555, Brakes all mt headsets, The keys go stiff and pop out, It does not warn me when it is running out of battery, And it is a piece of crap, Mainly when it comes to Gameplay and Commentary.So where do i get a new batter from? Because i need to have my Laptop constantly in as if i take the charger out, It shuts off P.S. Me and my mum recently lost 444, So we don't have money to waste as we have none, So i need somewhere where they do them cheapish.
New laptop battery not charging (plugged in, no charge)?
i have a sony vaio vgn nw130d.. i bought a new battery on ebay with the same serial number so it should be an effortless replacement. the new battery is a snug fit compared to the original, but i made sure the pins line up with the contacts on the battery so it shouldnt be a hardware malfunction. i also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for the battery in device manager but to no avail.
New Laptop Battery. Charging Help!?
I ordered a laptop and it is coming today. I heard that once you get your laptop and battery it is nescessary to full charge the battery first and then fully discharge it and then charge is again before actually using it to help the battery. Is this true? also when i charge the battery should the laptop be on or off? and when discharging should i use the laptop? or just let is discharge? thx in advance
New laptop battery? Help?
I got a new laptop battery today and he told me that I needed to leave my laptop plugged in for at least four hours and then unplug it until it dies completely or else the system wouldn't be able to read that it has a new battery. I did that and the battery lasted for about 40 minutes and then died. I plugged it in and it still says that I have the " incorrect" battery in. Should I leave it in for four more hours and try again? If not, what should I do?
New laptop battery life help!?
I recently bought a new laptop yesterday and i used it all last night. I charged it this morning while eating breakfast and after i was done charging i noticed the battery life estimation only said 3 44 while it said 6 hours on full on the box. help
