No sound on laptop? HP Compaq Presario V6000?
my sister plugged speakers into it the other day, and now the sound isn't working. it's not muted, all the volume control things have been checked, according to the device manager thing everything is working properly. it's driving me crazy, can it be fixed and how?? or will my fool of a sister be paying for repairs on my laptop? thank you yep she plugged it into the jack and had it up fairly loud. she won't tell me if she stopped the music turned off the laptop before she took it out or this is far more likely knowing her if she just yanked it out while it was playing music. ok now it has sound ONLY if i plug in the speakers. it still has no sound with earphones or when the speakers aren't in. gaahh
