I had no sound on laptop speakers?
1 I had no sound on laptop speakers but did on headphones2 i restarted the laptop and now both laptop speakers and headphones work3 the newest drivers were installed for the speakers as i went into device manager4 all volumes were turned up and none were muted.5 when no sound was coming out of laptop speakers, i went to control panel and sound and it said speakers were working?please help, what went wrong and now that i have restarted it, the sound works

Hi, I have a hp pavillion dv9843cl. I replaced the motherboard because it broke but the person who replaced it installed vista 32bit on it while mine was 64bit before. Everything seems to work fine except for the sound. The driver is working correctly, there's sound in the bios when i press a button, but there's no sound from my laptop. I can see the sound icon, I tried everything to make it work. I downgraded the driver and upgraded it several times and i updated my graphic cards driver. Please help

No sound on laptop speaker after using HDMI cable?
I have dell m1330 laptop. I used it with HDMI cable to hook it up to my TV. Sound and picture on the TV are perfect. But when I removed the HDMI cable from my laptop I lost the sound on my laptop speakers. If I use my laptop with headphone or external speaker, they work fine. I tried everything but cannot get the sound to work. Any suggestions? The laptop is running Win XP. Thanks
