One year old laptop battery won't keep a charge?
The laptop is a HP and one year old, approximately 3 months ago the battery started doing some odd things. It charges up to full charge and when it's unplugged for more than 5 minutes the battery goes completely dead and shuts off. I was told it might be the 'cell' burned out...I don't know, but I thought the laptop battery would last longer than this. What should I do, buy another battery or is this problem not the battery after all?

My Dell laptop battery had very little life left and would only run for about 20 minutes when unplugged from the adaptor. My laptop battery pretty much sucks. It can't hold charge but it's fine if you have it plugged in the whole time. But the charge is dying more and more so i tihnk it will die pretty soon. Anyway, is there anyplace i can sell it, you know like someone who can fix it or something. It's a Dell Latitude d400. i know that i can just have it recycled on dell.com but i would like to see if i could get some money off of it. Thanks

HP 1+ yr old Laptop: Battery icon says 'plugged in, charging' but battery remains at 61%. Help please.?
I have an HP Laptop that is just more than a year old. Few days back every thing was fine but recently I noticed that the battery icon always says 'plugged in, charging' but it never shows 100 % charged. Mostly it doesn't go beyond 61 %. If you have any solution to the problem, please help me. Thank you.
