I'm looking to sell old laptop parts..?
I have spare parts from a HP G60 series laptop. I salvage nearly every piece that s still working. I was wondering if there is a site I could go to to sell the parts. Every time I try to google it all I can find is sites that SELL parts and doesn't BUY them.
Any ideas where i can sell some old laptop parts ?

Is there a way to put old laptop parts into a new one to make the new one better?
i have an old laptop that i dont use anymore and i was wondering if there was a way to maybe put those parts into a new laptop to make it better? if theres anything at all i can do with the old laptop please tell me. right now its just sitting under my bed wasting space.

Out of my old laptop i scavenged a 40gb Fujitsu Hard Drive i know thats a very small HD , 256mb DDR RAM infineon and a dvd rom drive model number sdr 081 any thoughts is it even worth the effort trying to sell these? thanks
Old laptop parts and questions. How much do you know?
I need a place online that sells old brand specific parts like batteries and power adapters for laptops at a good price.I have an old Dell inspiron 5160 that I use occasionally... It's battery is just about useless by now though... I never really took care of the battery like making sure to run it down before recharging and whatnot... I never had the time But, for the last year and a half the battery was never used until tonight... but it's been in the computer while it was plugged in that whole time. Which I'm 90 % sure is why, when I used the battery tonight, the computer was EXTREMELY slow and the battery lasted a total of 15 mins.What I've heard is that, when you aren't using them, you should store batteries unplugged at about 40 % charge... and they last a lot longer. How accurate is this?So I need an unused Inspiron 5160 battery and I would also like to have an extra power adapter just so I don't have to add any more wear and tear on the one that I have.And one last question about parts. Do you know if the hard drive for this laptop is ATA 6? Was that the standard 2 3 years ago before everything went Sata? Or was it Ultra IDE or something. I can't find any descriptive pictures to tell me what I have... I know it's a parallel configuration with aprox 50 pins and that I switched it out with 2 other laptops from around that time one vaio, and one everex walmart brand pos and it was compatible. I just want to buy a spare HD too just in case. Parallel is a dieing technology for hard drives, so I don't want to have to pay $100 for only like a 10 gig drive in a few years when Serial's flooded the market.lol... ya i did a google search... i don't want to spend $60 on 4 year old parts ... i need a good price.And newegg has a very small selection of " open box" items, which is a sneaky way of saying " it's used... so we'll knock $10 off" No brand specific parts like batteries and power adapters tho and NOTHING that's for a 4 year old model.
