Hi there I am looking for an eco friendly,high quality and good service laptop brand o far I have researched Apple and ASUS who are both high quality and eco friendly but I heard that Apple has sweatshops in China and ASUS pirates its software,Dell not good service,HP too cheap,Sony not enough ange Im fussy .Please help me with some good laptop brands .Thanks

Best quality laptop brand?
I am planning on buying a new laptop with something like $700 USD and I've got some tough competitors, but mostly I'm thinking Sony VAIO because I have to admit I also love the design and the looks . I've read that Toshiba Satellite laptops are also very good laptops but I am not sure.I own a reeeaally old toshiba tecra 8100 and It still works fine on Windows XP, obviously I only use it for IM and random Internet browsing without ever downloading anything but I find it amazing that it still works, so I've got a lot of my faith put on Toshibas when it comes to quality.I also own another old Dell Latitude D600, not as old as the toshiba but still pretty outdated and works amazingly even with all the stuff I've installed on it such as Photoshop, CorelDraw, Illustrator, itunes and other programs .Now Im looking for a replacement of my old laptop and something that can give me the best performance. Im not a gamer nor a tech savvy, but I do like meddling around with it and downloading tons of stuff, also I always have at least 3 different programs running.I am aware that for the price I am willing to pay I can't really get picky, but I also know that the most expensive is not always the best quality for your money. what do you guys think? what are your top quality brands for mainstream laptops? what would you recommend me?
