Can sony laptops use the same software as any other PC?

Can a Sony laptop, purchased in Greece be used in the USA with just a plug adaptor? (no converter)?
Model VGN FW31JA Dell purchased in the USA worked in Greece with just a plug adaptor, but no where in the Sony on line manual does it state that this is also true with this model.

Sony laptop not loading windows when turned on what does this mean and what can I do?
It's about 3 years old and when using it last night it kept saying not responding to everything so I switched it off and on again and now when I switch it on it's just showing the logo and the intel logo and not loading to windows or anything else.What is wrong with it and what can I do?

so i recently upgraded my laptop model vgn fz320e to windows 7 ultimate and i don't have the drivers for the computer, i've tried radarsync and driver detective both cost money i don't have and i've gone to the sony esupport with no avail. For example the drivers for the built in camera on the sony support site were not correct drivers. Anyone know where i could find these drivers FOR FREE PLEASE.

I just bought a sony laptop and the when it turns on the screen turns white from the outside inward. Whats up?
I just purchased a son VAIO used.about a month ago. Things were great. Now when my daughter turns it on the screen slowly turns white from the outer edges until the whole screen turns white. What causes this and how can I fix it?

I am in the process of buying a VAIO laptop notebook < i think thats the same thing? and would like some suggestions on what to look for. Price range between 900 1300. Size around 14" and weight is not that big of an issue. Graphics arent as important since i dont play games as much as speed is . I dont really understand the Inter processors because there are so many of them so how do i know which is the best ? Can someone explain to me the differenct processors and what to look for in them ? Mainly i would like a fast computer with a lot of storage and decent battery life. So what would you recommend ?

How do i fix a virus on my sony laptop?
my laptop has a virus and now i cant really log into my computer. i turn it on it starts normally then a fake PC clean up thing is showing and then i cant use my computer, i use the alt ctrl delete thing and use the new task button to get onto the internet... i have norton but they charge 100 to fix it, is there any other way to fix it without paying that much? plz plz help me
