You will not notice much difference, the Sony VAIO is just a little better. I would be careful in buying a VAIO, check the reviews on it. I was so convinced in buying one, but I read a review saying it has a faulty touchpad so I googled that and saw many people with the same problem with different models too. The touchpad froze, response was slow, or it moved on its own. It said they had to settle for a USB mouse.
