Question: Help, my sony laptop wont turn on?

My Sony Vaio laptop just turned off by itself all of the sudden when I was updating my iPod. I checked the bottom of the laptop and it wasn't overheating at all, it fact, it was pretty cool since it was just minutes after turning it on. The battery charger was unplugged. Now it wont turn on? help?

Don't support corporate money making companies like sony laptop and ipod. i use my creative mp3 player and asus gaming laptop. both have been working great for the last 1 year. always go for these types of brands. they are more flexible and less hassle and compatibility issues.

You're saying that nothing shows up on the screeen at all? If that's the case then I'm guessing that your BIOS is fried or something else on the motherboard. What kind of work have you been doing on this computer? Has the processor been working a lot (i.e. heavy processing)? It could also be the result of overheating. If the vents for the CPU have been blocked then you may have fried your CPU.

Unplug the ipod! plug the charger in! Tr ye to start it! I hope it helps
