How long does your sony vaio laptop battery last?
Hey Please READ I bought myself a Sony Vaio E Series 15 inch laptop this time last year, and my battery has always been poor 1 hour running time on lowest brightness and no internet connection etc. Lately, my laptop has been switching off by itself and I have lost work and some of my files will not even open anymore. I was surprised to read other reviews when I first got my laptop that the fans would run very hot. Now, a year later, the fan gets so hot that after a few minutes on a table, the table has completely heated up and runs very loudly, unlike even a month ago.So my problems in a nutshell Laptop turns off unexpectedly even a few minutes after turning it on Fan now runs very hot and very loud Extremely bad battery lifeI do have an extended warranty. Are these normal problems or should it be something to contact Sony with?Thank you

Okay first of all the thing that I am doing with my laptop is very harmful I always plug in my charger while I am using my laptop and now every time I take the charger off it says 1 hour remaining but it actually doesn't remain for an 1 hour it stays for like 25 minutes and then I have to plug in the charger again I have decided to use my laptop without the charger because I have realized how harmful this is but I guess after 2 years of using it like this I have no other option of using it without a charger I was thinking is there anyway I can help my laptop and use it without the charger PS I don't wanna buy a new battery I would like to run this computer for another 2 years

I just purchased a new battery for my laptop a sony Vaio VGN CR35G L , its not charging and battery icon is blinking. the original battery VGP BPS9 S 11.1V 4800mAh but new battery is VGP BPS9 S 11.1V 5200mAh .
