My Toshiba Satellite laptop battery or ac adapter?
When i first bought my laptop about 3 years ago i was able to use the computer without the adapter for a few hours. but lately my laptop only stays charged for a few minutes without the adapter connected to it. but now my laptop needs the adapter in order for the computer to even turn on. im not sure if the battery or the adapter needs to be replaced.once i unplug the adapter the computer shuts off, even after its been plugged in for a while....so im guessing its the battery
Older Toshiba Satellite Laptop Battery?
My Toshiba Satellite Laptop is about five years old. I am confused about all this talk about recalls. Is this just for NEWER Tshiba Laptops? I am concerned about the fire hazard Sony battery catching fire . Is this ONLY ON NEWER Toshiba Laptops? I am NOT TALKING about the battery running out of power as I know some of the newer ones are doing this. I am talking about the possible fire hazard.. Even Toshiba DOESN'T seem to know. Talking to those people all overseas is like talking to the wall Does anyone have ANY information reliable, not off he top of your head .And to Lani45, gee dear, I am sorry you have issues, but I can tell you what will help with menopause if you like. That is when women who are your age become so enraged at the littlest thing they go ballistic over aboslutely nothing. Try warm baths, herbal tea, and a supplement and see if that helps.

I would like to calibrate my Toshiba Satellite Laptop battery?
I just installed Windows 7 on my Toshiba satellite laptop. when i plug it in to charge it only goes up to 59 percent and then stops charging. I had xp on it before and to my knowledge this wasn't happening. I cannot drain my battery completely because Windows 7 Hibernates at 5 percent battery. Furthermore you cannot change this even with administrator privileges. I did try editing my registry in HKEY LOCAL MACHINE SYSTEM ControlSet001 Control Power User PowerSchemes and attempted giving these privileges to change the critical battery level to 0.any answers would be appreciated thank you
Toshiba Satellite Laptop Battery Life?
My battery when fully charged only lasts about 45 mins. Is this normal or do I need a new battery? Anything else I can do to improve battery life?
