Is it possible to upgrade laptop video cards?
I have a Sony VGNFZ140QE with Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 processor, 2 GB Ram, and Intel GMA X3100 Graphic Chipset. I can't play Call of Duty 4 with this video card. Is it possible for me to send it in to a computer shop and have them upgrade my video card so I can play CoD4?

Upgrading Laptop Video Card?
Hey guys,Just wanted to run something by really quick. I've been playing a MMORPG called Rift similar to WOW, but not really and I was curios since my FPS are pretty bad if I could update replace the chipset in there right now? Currently I have a Asus laptop K60IJ Series w Vista 2.20GHZ, 4GB mem, and Mobile Intel R 4 Series Express Chipset Family as my graphics card. Since it's a chipset it's not integrated into the motherboard right? Would I be able to purchase a better graphics chipset and replace the old one? Any insight would be appreciated.Oh and any suggestions on a chipset would be great too.Thanks,ChrisOkay awesome thanks for the answers. I'm looking at Alienware laptops now any suggestions?
Upgrading laptop video card? TF2?
I have a model T6836 Gateway laptop, tried the free TF2 2 weekend but my computers video card isn't really good. its a Graphics media accelerator x3100 384 mb. My computer is a x2 core 2 ghz 4g ram vista 64x. I don't understand why because i can run Half life 2 demo on high settings very smoothly. I'm getting around 3 or 4 fps in open areas and 20 in closed in areas. Tried turning down the settings but that didn't seem to help much. HL2 and portal demos work smoothly though. I have a great internet connection.

So i own a gateway MX6650 laptop. It originally came with windows xp media center edition, but i upgraded it to windows 7 home premium. Apparently, my laptop does not support the aero affect on windows 7 i would also like my windows to be clear . Which video card should i purchase. What other upgrades do you recommend i buy to maximize performance?
