Is it illegal to sell used laptops..?
without the OS disc? As long as it's an activated op system already installed, or do you have to give a disc for each one?Ok thanks guys, and no lol.. they are not stolen. I have receipts from Ebay and every other place I buy from. Just was not sure if it is illegal or not if I do not sell with it's own disc everytime.

Good, everyday use, laptops under £450?
I am looking to buy my first laptop under about 450. HP was highly recommend to me. I don't really need it for anything particularly except writing and music, so one that has or could download Word or something like that, and one that could also have itunes on it I also need a CD Drive Slot thing for CD's and DVD's etc... If there is any other brands specific laptops you could recommend please do D thanks x
Cheap, everyday use laptop?
I'm on a Dell right now, and it's been acting stupid for several months now, replaced the hard drive and wiped everything out, and I'm still having a lot of issues. So I'm just trying to find a cheap laptop that I can buy so I can finally chuck this one out. The only thing that really matters to me is a decent screen resolution because the majority of the things I watch are on my external hard drive. I don't care about extra bits and pieces, just a decent laptop that will last awhile and won't empty out my bank account. Any help is appreciated

I have a desktop running windows 7 that I'm trying to hook up to a laptop running xp that I plan on using as a second monitor. I have a dvi hooked up to the laptop from the graphics cards and a vga to my actual monitor, and even with the help of youtube and other sites I have yet to get it to work. Help?
