i m planning 2 buy a new laptop..prior to building an interest 4 sony vaio, i ws looking thru models 4rm Dell, hp nd lenovo. nw, thinking 2 get an idea on how Vaio performs.. Pls, help me on choosing d rit one nd hw is...vaio's performance, Durability, Cust. Service, spare part availability, nd the battery back up.Is vaio option a gud one, pls let me know, hw is d performance, in general. Thanks.

VAIO Laptop review....looking to buy one for school?
Are VAIO laptops good student computers? I'm looking at either a 15.5" T4200 or the 14.1" T6500 anyone have one of these, if so what do you think of it, hate about it, like about it. I'm going to university and need something that will be decently fast as I multi task a lot with music playing, and many windows open at once for researching and writing papers. I am no a gamer so I don't need something with a game card or anything. I want something light as I will carry it everyday around campus with my text books , something fast,decent battery life, and would prefer it to have atleast a 320 GB hard drive. I don't want to spend more then around $1000 because I have to pay for everything and that is my budget. Just couldn't find any online reviews on these 2 laptops. Thanks

I was told to take a look at this laptop by my friend as I need one this year for school. I will be using it for a bit of music and some video editing not advanced by any means but mainly for school work and Internet. I like this laptop as it looks good, has a great spaced out keyboard and has pretty good specs, I think. What do you think? Is it a good choice?
