I am getting a dell laptop that will hopefully last 4 5 yrs of college. Would you recommend the intel i3 or i5 processor considering I will probably be using CAD, movies, music, and maybe games. In the next month I would like to purchase a new laptop for college. I need one that has a fast processor, and lots of room for memory. I will be studying computer science, so I need a laptop that will be able to run programs and be reliable for programming. The only 2 I have considered are the HP Envy 15 and the Macbook. I have other apple products and it would be nice to have everything synched together, and Macbooks are known to be very reliable. On the other hand, the HP has better specs and less money, but I'm not sure how reliable PC's are. which one do you think would be best?
