Windows 7. laptop to tv wireless?
i have windows 7 on my laptop and i hate plugging my computer into my tv cuz its a pain. the windows 7 commercials show the guy saying he can wirelessly watch movies from his computer on his tv. how am i supposed to set that up. i have at& t u verse incase that helps cuz that stuff is crazy for connecting things.

i got my laptop in November, and i saw one of those windows 7 commercials with a dude who showed the stuff on his laptop wirelessly on his tv idk how to do that, but i would like to learn, please. i have no problems with my PC, like i said, it's new, i just don't know how to do this. thanks in advance.

i see commercials advertising that you can connect a windows 7 laptop to your tv and i was wondering how you do it? because im trying to watch a movie online with my brother and we both dont want to sit watching a tiny laptop together.
Windows 7 Laptop to TV with VGA to S video adapter?
I have a Toshiba Satellite L500, Originally came with Vista, now has Windows 7. I am trying to connect my laptop to an older Zenith TV, its about 10 years old. I bought one of the VGA to S video adapters that has the s video plug, and the red yellow and white plugs. I disconnected the s video cables from the back of my dvd player and plugged them into the adapter, and I cannot get anything to work. I have tried going under the screen resolution page and connecting to an external device, but nothing works. I know it's connected because I can hear the speakers making noise on my tv, but neither picture nor sound works from the tv. I checked and my video driver is up to date. Any suggestions?My computer does not have an s video plug, but my tv does. If I try just the s video plugged in through the adapter, it does the same thing. I also noticed that if I mess with the plug I can see the black screen on the tv flicker a little like it's connected to something.I have been through all of the different external device possibilitles, duplicate, and extend, nothing works, just a speaker crackle from the tv.
Window 7- Laptop to TV?
I have Window 7 and I want to know how to connect my laptop to the TV wirelessly. Do I need any equipment to do so or can I just connect as is?Thanks.
